Thé Lau Matheus J. "Thé" Lau (17 July 1952 - 23 June 2015) was a Dutch musician and writer. Besides his solo career, he was the lead singer of the Dutch band The Scene. He was born in Bergen, North Holland . Music career Lau played guitar in several bands and was a member of the Dutch band Neerlands Hoop Express.

In 2007 kwam The Scene weer bij elkaar en ging Lau met drie vroegere bandleden (Jeroen, Emilie en Otto) weer toeren. Ook namen ze een cd op. In 2010 nam Thé Lau samen met Lange Frans het nummer Zing voor me op, waarmee ze de eerste plaats van de Nederlandse Single Top 100 bereikten. Op 12 augustus 2013 werd bekendgemaakt dat hij aan keelkanker.
